I Got a Bee in My Bonnet

My mind is forever thinking of new projects that I want to do. Sometimes the ideas get to "buzzin" around so fast that I feel like I have bees swarming around in my head. This saying actually came from my grandmother. She used to say, when she had an idea about how to do something, "I got a bee in my bonnet and I couldn't rest until I got it out." So, when I think of something new I want to do, I can't rest until I get that bee out of my bonnet. Ü

Mother's Day

Nanna and her girls

Today the girls took me and their Daddy to Texas Roadhouse for my Mother's Day lunch. It was delicious as always. They each gave me a card and went together to get me a gift certificate for a pedicure and manicure at Deluxe Nails in Gravel Ridge where I usually get my nails done. I was so excited to get this because my nails and toe nails are in bad need of some pampering! We then came home and took a few pictures on the patio. Later, Norman and I went over to Andrea's house to help her with some yard work as part of her Mother's Day gift from us. I helped her clean out her flower bed out front and Norman cut the grass and did some trimming on her hedges in the back yard. She was very excited to get this done. Tomorrow Camryn and I will go get some flowers to go in her beds. Hopefully, we can get them planted before it starts raining again on Tuesday.

These are the pictures we took on the patio. Camryn was being whiney at first not wanting to cooperate. Eventually, we got her to smile. Ü The weather was beautiful and we all enjoyed a great Mother's Day!
